Bad Luck Ends at Shelbyville Saturday
Eddie makes his third career appearance this Saturday night August 21st to the speedway in Shelbyville Indiana. In his two previous career starts at the racetrack, he has two DNF's. The #14 team is looking to change that this weekend, not only finish but run strong as well. The speedway in Shelbyville is one of a few home tracks for the Midwest TQ Racing Series, and has always drawn good fan turn outs. It is a short and very narrow 1/4 mile which in the past seasons has produced some very close finishes and sometimes 2 wide racing. Shelbyville is also near Eddie's current home in Indiana, so it would be a great place to start a string of good finishes. The team believes that after the motor struggles at Avcom Park, it is ready to run strong this weekend. Times for Shelbyville are as follows: Pits open at 2 pm, Grandstands at 4:30, Qualifying at 6, racing starts around 7. There is also some pre-race activities that the #14 will-NOT be in and for more information on those please go to mtqrl.com for more information. Look forward to seeing you at the track Saturday>>>>>

Eddie content to finish 7th after a long night
After starting the evening at Avcom Park having more engine problems, EGR thought it was going to be a 2009 season all over again. The first heat race took three times to finally get going with two spins on both inital starts. Going into turn one on lap one is when all the rough driving started when the #14 car got nailed from behind, only to be followed by an ill running motor a few laps later in the race. After making changes to fix the motor problems, it was time for the feature. With the bad finish from the heat, Eddie was set to start 5th on a track that only had one grove racing. It took a few laps into the feature for the fuel lines to clean out and then Eddie started moving to the front on the high side. While running 4th, Eddie was hit from behind and spun in turn 1 by the #72w. He restarted in 8th place, and with a great restart jumped up to fifth looking to pass for fourth in turn 3, when he went high on the #72, the driver turned right into the left side of the #14 car and almost pushed him off the track and Eddie fell 4 spots back to 8th. Eddie regained momentum and was able to get back along side the #72 three laps later only to have him run into the side of the #14 car once again, this time slightly pushing Eddie over the top of the track. One lap later going into turn one, the same #72 car clipped the left rear of Eddie once again sending him spinning into turn one. With the amount of contact that had gone on, Eddie pulled into the pit 3 laps short of the finish so the car would not be brought home damaged. Eddie finished the feature 7th, while series points leader Tracy Hull took home the win. The #14 team is already planning a return to the track at Avcom Park this season. Check the race schedule for more details.

June 5th Race with MTQRL still up in air
With things looking to wrap up nicely for Eddie in Oklahoma, Eddie was eager to announce his return to Indiana midget racing in Indianapolis on June 5th. However, weather / high heat / and occasional problems have led to a longer stay in Oklahoma for the driver of the #14 Tq. If everything were to go well, Eddie will arrive back in Green Bay late friday night June 4th. Eddie is also planning to spend some time with family & friends so there is a good chance that Eddie will not make the Saturday night race in Indianapolis, but has high hopes to compete the next 5 straight weeks with the IMRA series in Illinois. Stay tuned for details..............

2010 Season Plans
The year 2010 has been a busy year so far and will continue to be a transition year for the 14 motorsports race team. During the summer of 2010, Eddie plans to run atleast two or three races with either the Umra, Mtqrl or Imra midget series. With the current traveling schedule that Eddie has been on, it makes it very hard to make it to the midwest midget races. The team is planning for the mid to late race season of 2011, when they plan to make there debut in the Imca Northern & Southern sportsmod series. With this move to the Dirt modifieds, Eddie will be racing in Wisconsin, Indiana, Oklahoma, Illinois & South Dakota. Look for plans to be released over this winter and continue to check the schedule for current midget races that get added.
